I began working as a DJ in 1996 at the age of 16 at an under 18s night in my local Ice-Skating Rink at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. From there I progressed to mobile gigs in pubs and hotels throughout the North-West of England. Between 1999 and 2001 I was engaged in summer Holiday-Park contracts and winter contracts on Cruise-Ships and in foreign Hotel Lounges. I then spent 2-years living in Malaysia from 2001 to 2003 where I became involved in radio. After returning to the UK at the end of 2003 I set up my own audio company selling and installing sound systems. Some of the highlights of my DJ career so far have included meeting and working with some well known and incredibly talented people including Peter Kay, Bjork, Dave Spikey, Liberty X and Vernon Kay. On a personal level my own highlights have been performing a series of one-off gigs throughout the UK, Europe, Scandinavia and Asia including performing a set in the main room at Ministry of Sound in London.
Since 2005 I have had residencies in these High-Street Bars:
| | Tapas Bar (2005-Present) |
| | Printworks (2008-Present) |
| | Bar Censsa (2006-2009) |
| | Leeds Jongleurs (2005-2008) |
| | Blackpool Reflex (2006-2008) |
| | Burnley Walkabout (2006-2008) |
| | Barnsley Walkabout (2007-2008) |
| | Nottingham Jongleurs (2007-2008) |
My main hobby is competing, coaching and training in Judo. I also regularly play football and badminton. My great passions are music and travel. I have been fortunate in life to make a living out of music and travel extensively. As well as being a DJ I am also a keen drummer. I have taught practical drumming and site reading in the past to private pupils and University students. Over the years I have been involved in cabaret shows, function bands and theatre. In 2005 I spent the summer season playing drums in Blackpool Tower Circus Orchestra Pit. I am currently playing with a semi-pro pub band once a month just for fun.
